Field Trip to Exploration Place: Honoring Our History: World War I Traveling Exhibit Gallery Wichita, Kansas

We visited the traveling World War I Exhibit Gallery at Exploration Place
We brought along our military helmets and anxiously awaited what was inside the gallery.
We read about the job of horses in the war and how they helped the soldiers.
There were many neat things to see; uniforms, helmets, weapons, tools, and equipment.
The preschoolers were pretty excited to see all of the military items!

 A Navy soldier's uniform
A wall that looked like a real trench that the soldier's used.
The children spotted many things in the old photos. They pointed out flags, vehicles, and people in uniforms.
 An Aviator Uniform
 Flying like airplanes

We had so much fun! What a great field trip!!
