Field Trip to The Great Plains Nature Center

We found a prairie dog. The kids thought it looked pretty real.

They weren't afraid to touch it!!!

The kids pointed out many creatures under the water

Christian got a little wild with some animal bones

There was a huge glass aquarium with many fish in it

We watched a presentation about snakes and owls

The preschoolers did an awesome job sitting still and listening carefully

They even got a chance to touch a real snake! They were not afraid!!!

We learned many new things about owls

We could not touch the owl like we did the snake. The owl was too scared of us.
