Native American Unit

Looking through books about different tribes of Indians. The children used the books to find ideas on what to draw in their artwork.

The children learned the definition of the word hieroglyphics. They used these symbols to design their head dresses. They made pictures of bows and arrows, buffalo, trees, people, and Tipis.

They added feathers to their head dresses

Look at these cuties!
