Miss Anne the Librarian Awards the "Summer Reading Program" Prizes

Miss Anne visits our school to award the prizes for the "Summer Reading Program". Each child met their goal for the summer and received a free book of their choice. They also received coupons to restaurants for free kids meals and many other free fun treats!!!

The kids can't wait for another summer of reading and prizes!

Clown Carnival 2012~Learning Together Academy

 Proceeds from the baskets will go to the Ambassadors of Goodwill Clowns and Camp Healing Hearts. Camp Healing Hearts is a camp for children who have suffered a loss of a loved one.

 Natalee spotted a book that she had read before.

 So many choices!

 We found some good ones!

 The preschoolers colored Butterfly coloring activity sheets after they found their two favorite books.

Checking out books in the electronic check-out machine. The kids really enjoyed doing this on their own.

 Everyone took turns checking out their own books.

 The machine made a funny noise when the book was checked out.

We can't wait to visit the library again next summer during our "Summer of Exploration"!

Saying Goodbye to Our Friend Korbin!

Our preschool friend Korbin is moving out of state. We had a party for him to celebrate his last day of preschool.
