 Exploration Place came to Learning Together Academy

The preschoolers dug for fossils

 They were top-notch paleontologists!

 They used little shovels for digging, pics to dig in between the bones, and brushes to wipe away the dirt.

 The kids worked hard digging for tiny dinosaur bones

 When they found all of their pieces, they put them together to make a flying, swimming, or land walking dinosaurs. The kids had to guess which dinosaur they had.

Summer of Exploration: The Wichita Children's Theater~Cinderella

We visited the Wichita Children's Theater

We saw Cinderella

 The preschoolers dressed as princesses and princes!

 We even got a yummy treat after Cinderella was over

 What a fun field trip!

We went back to school and used our imaginations outside on the playground and inside in the Home Living Center. We all pretended to be royalty!

 The preschoolers have been so helpful watering the flowers and plants on the playground

 We will have grapes in time to eat this summer

 Each daddy received a bag of popcorn, bottle of pop, juice box, and a ticket for a movie night with their child. The kids wrote creative things about their dads. They are sure to have a awesome movie night!

Father's Unit: Show-and-Tell

Ryder brought a few things he likes to do with his dad to share.

He had a fishing magazine and a tackle box full of bait to catch fish with.

 He showed off his glow-in-the-dark tackle to his friends

 Macy brought a list of things she likes to do with her mom's boyfriend. She was pretty excited to tell us all about it.

The Librarian Visits Learning Together Academy

Miss Anne the Librarian visits Learning Together Academy. We had so much fun dancing and reading stories. We also got signed up for the Summer Reading Program. At the end of the summer when we have met our reading goals, we will get some fabulous prizes. We can't wait!!!
